Sell ticketing on-line and on-site
You can easily sell tickets through your web site by linking to TicketU. It?s easy to use the built-in tool to match the look to your own web site. The system displays a list of all events for which you are currently selling tickets. You specify the dates and times to start and end ticket sales for each event
When you sign up for TicketU, you will tell us which delivery methods you would like to offer: e-tickets, mail order, or will call. The e-ticket option enables purchasers to print their own tickets on plain paper using their own printer. The system will automatically generate a PDF document containing the images of the tickets. A link to this document will be displayed after the purchaser?s payment has been authorized. A link will also be inserted in the e-mail receipt that is automatically sent to the purchaser.
E-tickets are a very convenient fulfillment option and work well for many venues and events. However, in some cases, you may prefer for all patrons to have a ticket printed on ticket stock. If so, then you will want to choose our mail-order and/or will-call options. These options work with our box office features so that your staff can process orders efficiently. These orders automatically appear on the Review Orders page for your box office staff. (See Box Office Management Features.)
There are many safeguards built into TicketU.
One is a 10 minute time limit for a purchaser to complete a purchase. This prevents a malicious visitor from holding seats an indefinite time period without purchasing them. Other features built into the TicketU system for your protection include:
* Real-time credit card authorization
* Address verification
* Encryption of all transaction details
